Hey, you know what I like about Michael Kwan’s blog, Beyond the Rhetoric?  Sure, he has some great posts about blogging in general, and being subscribed to his RSS feed has helped me develop a lot as a blogger.  But Michael Kwan is a professional freelance writer, and you can totally tell from his posts, which are a real delight to read.  Michael doesn’t just limit himself to posts about blogging, but mixes things up a bit with some really interesting stuff.

Michael’s 200 RSS feed readers and large number of daily visitors makes advertising on his blog a wise investment for anyone looking to get the word out about their site or product.  I’ll start with recommending his paid reviews, which are really top-notch (what do you expect from a professional writer?).  At 70 bucks, Michael’s paid reviews are actually more affordable than other bloggers with his number of readers, too.

 Michael also offers three affordable ad locations on his site, with a large banner ad, sidebar text link ads, and post-level text link ads going for $80, $25, and $5 per month, respectively. 

I also see from Michael’s adverting page that he will let you write your own post on his blog for $15, which is pretty insanely cheap for a free 200-500 word entry.  Go check out Beyond the Rhetoric, and even if you decide not to purchase any advertising, you’d be wise to subscribe to his feed and become a regular visitor!
