I’m subscribed to a bunch of blogs about making money online and optimizing your blog for search engines, but I have to say that CourtneyTuttle.com provedes some of the most consistently useful info that you can find (he recently wrote a post about ranking for specific keywords that bookmarked and I’m sure I’ll put to use). In less than a year, Courtney has gone from zero readers to 1,500 RSS subscribers and is ranked as one of the top ten blogs of its kind in the entire Blogosphere.

In addition to reading Courtney Tuttle for ideas on how to improve and brand your blog, he also offers some straightforward, useful advertising options on his site. The classic 125X125 sponsorship button in his sidebar is $60 a month (with a two month minimum, as a lot of bloggers are doing). If that’s outside of your budget, you could try a sidebar text link for just 20 smackers a month, instead.
I really like how Courtney describes his paid reviews:
In order to help people to establish solid brands, I am going to start offering a paid review service. This service really won’t have much to do with the b.s. reviews that are happening everywhere in the internet. This service will give you legit feedback on what you’re doing right, and what you’re doing wrong. It will definitely help you to create some buzz if you are doing it right, and will expose to you critical errors that are holding back your brand.
He charges a hundred bucks for a review of your blog, but from the sounds of it, the reviews are worth every penny. Courtney’s done a great job building up his own site, and I’m sure he can show you how to do the same. Dude, go check out Courtney Tuttle’s Advertising Page and find out more!
